Dr. Andrés Morales Arias

I am the Founder and CEO of Consilium Juris Advisory, an independent consultancy providing legal and strategic advisory services across international commercial law, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, public international law, and cross-border business matters.My professional experience spans corporate and commercial law, international transactions, contractual negotiations, corporate structuring, financial regulation, intellectual property, due diligence, and regulatory compliance. I have advised businesses across technology, financial services, agritech, and digital commerce, while also contributing to legal research, policy development, and international development initiatives involving human rights, migration and asylum, sustainable development, and climate change.
My corporate legal experience includes supporting multinational clients, including Fortune 500 companies, in governance, company secretarial matters, and international corporate administration.I hold a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Salamanca, awarded Summa Cum Laude, a Master's degree in Company Law from the University of Alcalá de Henares, and an LL.B. from the University of Salamanca. My doctoral research on refugees, asylum seekers, and public administration was published as a monograph in 2023.
My academic experience also includes legal research at Stellenbosch University, particularly in commercial law and financial-market regulation.In addition, I serve on the College of Review of the National Research Foundation of South Africa, contributing to the evaluation of research funding proposals in international law, commercial law, and related disciplines.With international academic and professional experience across Europe, Africa, and Latin America, I bring a multidisciplinary, comparative, and commercially informed perspective to complex legal and institutional challenges. Through Consilium Juris Advisory, I am committed to delivering rigorous, practical, and strategically focused counsel that enables clients to navigate regulatory complexity, manage risk, and pursue opportunities with confidence.
Dr. Jairo Morales Nieto

I am an economist with a Master's degree and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Münster, Germany, specialising in economic development, public policy, development finance, and regional economics. Born in Bogotá, Colombia, I bring extensive international experience advising public and private organisations on economic strategy, institutional development, and sustainable growth.
I joined the United Nations system in 1987, holding senior leadership positions directing development programmes across Latin America, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. My career culminated in Geneva as Trust Fund Executive Officer of the Enhanced Integrated Framework, a multinational initiative involving 23 donors, 50 recipient countries, seven international organisations, and a budget of approximately US$250 million.
My academic and research experience includes positions at the University of Los Andes in Colombia, alongside teaching and professional training in development economics, economic policy, finance, and project evaluation across Europe, Africa, and the Americas. I am also the author and co-author of publications on economic development and public policy, including ¿Qué es el Postconflicto? Colombia después de la guerra (Penguin Random House, 2016) and Readings on Equality and Development Economics (Lambert Academic Publishing, 2021).
I currently serve as Executive Director of INAFCON Economic, Finance & Business Development Consultants and as a lecturer at the Africa Growth Institute in Cape Town, South Africa. My consultancy work spans South Africa, Singapore, Uruguay, and Colombia.
